Reverse the Trend Pacific
Welcome to Reverse The Trend’s Pacific Chapter! We are a group of Pacific youth from all around the great Blue Pacific. We are determined to raise our voices against the twin existential threats of nuclear weapons and climate change that threaten the Pacific region and our entire world. We will rise up as one united Pacific voice!

Coordinators
Maverick Peter Seda
Maverick Peter Seda is an indigenous Pacific Islander from the Solomon Islands. Presently, he is pursuing his studies at the University of the South Pacific, Solomon Islands campus. In addition to Maverick’s academic endeavors, he is actively involved with youth groups and Civil Society Organizations. His work primarily focuses on advocating for and lobbying the Solomon Islands Government on issues that are significant to the people of the Solomon Islands and the broader Pacific Island community.
Corbin One
Corbin, a committed young leader in the Adventist community, is currently pursuing a degree in Project Management at the University of the Pacific. His passion lies in advocating for youth justice in the Solomon Islands, where he actively participates in the USPSA Solomon Students Council to engage with the community meaningfully. Furthermore, he is deeply troubled by the effects of the nuclear legacy on the Pacific community and is dedicated to educating and advocating to address these issues.

Previous Coordinators
Georgina Oroi
As a Melanesian Pacific Islander, Gina has chosen to dedicate her time and life to continue to fight for a better Pacific and protect her people. She has chosen to live her life by combating human rights violations, to become a voice of the voiceless in the spaces of West Papua self-determination, nuclear disarmament, ocean protection, and a brighter Pacific, where the destructive issues we are currently facing in our region become resolved and eradicated. Gina is Melanesian and she will always choose to protect her people of the Pacific region.
Jeshua Hope
Jeshua is an indigenous Fijian and a student at the University of the South Pacific studying Politics and Literature & Language.
Jeshua also works as a Communications Support Officer for Oxfam in the Pacific. He is a passionate advocate for decolonization and wears the Morning Star flag lapel pin proudly because Oceania is not free until West Papua is free!
Marisha Jones
Marisha is a final year law student majoring in Bachelor of Laws at the University of the South Pacific in Vanuatu. She is from the Federated States of Micronesia.
While pursuing her degree, she volunteers her free time doing advocacy work for women’s rights and has been involved in campaigns for racial and climate justice. She joined Reverse The Trend with an aim to continue learning and raising awareness on nuclear testing and climate change.
Manoa Rokotavaga
Manoa is a Pacific Islander and Fijian who has a keen interest in the current national, regional and international discourse on the issues of nuclear disarmament and climate change.
He wishes to dive more into Pacific history, culture and traditions in an attempt to interweave that in a more Oceania-based and youth-based diplomacy and negotiation. He is also a second year USP student majoring in Economics and Politics.
Keana Segal
Keana is from the Federated States of Micronesia and is currently studying law at the University of the South Pacific in Vanuatu.
She joined RTT to broaden her understanding of the many issues surrounding nuclear contamination. With the aim of building her advocacy skills, she hopes to better advocate for nuclear and climate justice.
